Alicia Levine is Head of Global Investment Strategy at BNY Mellon Investment Management. In this role, Alicia leads the team which provides market commentaries and produces original content for internal and external distribution, helping to synthesize and translate economic concepts into investment strategy and portfolio positioning decisions. She provides a crucial link between the investment and distribution teams to enable consistent positioning and insight into BNYM’s investment strategies and funds across all asset classes. Alicia is also a spokesperson for BNYM Investment Management for financial news outlets.
Alicia joined BNY Mellon Investment Management from Angelo, Gordon and Co., the alternative asset manager, where she was the Director of Communications. Previously, she was a research analyst and then Portfolio Manager at Bentley Capital Management where she invested in public equities and built long/short portfolios for clients.
Alicia earned a B.A. degree from Brown University and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago. In addition, she was awarded a pre-doctoral fellowship from Stanford University and a post-doctoral fellowship from Harvard University. Alicia also received a research fellowship from the Hoover Institution.
