Onboarding Instructions and Forms

Onboarding New Banks

    • Contact Institutional Services at 1-800-346-3621 option 1 or your relationship manager to initiate a request for a new dealer code.
    • A standard Bank Selling Agreement & Intermediary Information Form for Banks will be e-mailed directly to you.
    • Complete and return to Institutional Services:
        • Two signed original Bank Selling Agreements
        • Intermediary Information Form for Banks (this form contains questions regarding general firm and customer information, key firm contacts as well as regulatory information)

Onboarding of New Bank Client Money Market Accounts

If by the Intermediary for Omnibus, Nominee Name, and Fully Disclosed Registrations:

 

      • If the account will be registered using the shareholder’s Tax ID, a valid IRS Form W-9 (most current version posted on the IRS website) signed by the shareholder, must accompany the application

If completed by the Shareholder for Fully Disclosed Registrations (Not required if Intermediary Application completed):

 

NOTES FOR CORPORATIONS (Shareholder application only)

      • Include a copy of Certified Articles of Incorporation or a copy of a Certificate of Good Standing from the state of incorporation, issued within the last six months. These documents are not required if you’re a publically traded company
      • A copy of the Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Incumbency or Secretary Certificate may be accepted in lieu of the information required in Appendix A of the Dreyfus Money Market Direct Account Application.
      • If not included as part of the documentation above, you can add authorized traders by providing a letter of instruction listing the traders, signed by an authorized party on the account.

If you are completing this application electronically, all items except the signature may be filled in electronically. Signatures must be handwritten and the signed application should be sent to the addresses below. If you would like us to review your application prior to submission, please contact us at 1-800-346-3621 option 1 or your relationship manager.

Onboarding New Broker-Dealers

  • Contact Institutional Services at 1-800-346-3621 option 1 or your relationship manager to initiate a request for a new dealer code.
  • A standard Broker-Dealer Selling Agreement & Intermediary Information Form for Broker-Dealers will be e-mailed directly to you.
  • Complete and return to Institutional Services:
    • Two signed original Broker-Dealer Selling Agreements
    • Intermediary Information Form for Broker-Dealers (this form contains questions regarding general firm and customer information, key firm contacts as well as regulatory information)
    • A copy of your firm's Form B-D

Onboarding New Broker-Dealer Money Market Accounts

If by the Intermediary for Omnibus, Nominee Name, or Fully Disclosed Registrations:

  • If the account will be registered using the shareholder’s Tax ID, a valid IRS Form W-9 (most current version posted on the IRS website) signed by the shareholder, must accompany the application.

  • Complete and return to Institutional Services:
    • Dreyfus Money Market Direct Account Application
    • Copy of Certified Articles of Incorporation or copy of a Certificate of Good Standing from the state of incorporation, issued within the last six months. These documents are not required if you’re a publically traded company.

  • A copy of corporate resolution or Certificate of Incumbency or Secretary Certificate may be accepted in lieu of the information required on Appendix A of the Dreyfus Money Market Direct Account Application.
