A native of Turkey, Lale received her B.A. degree in economics as the highest ranking student from the nation’s one of the leading academic institutions, Bilkent University. She is also a graduate of Yale University where she earned an M.A. degree in economics with concentration in macroeconomics, and from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business where she earned an M.Sc. degree in finance with concentration in financial engineering.
