Mail by Early January 2018

Year-End Statements

Reports, distributions and activity in each fund account for the year.

 

Statement of Tax Exempt Income

If applicable, you will receive the statement with your year-end statement.

Mail by January 31, 2018

Form 1099-DIV

Reports taxable income and capital gain distributions over $10. Accounts without a required form 1099-B will be mailed by this date.

Form 1099-R

Reports distributions from retirement accounts.

Mail by January 31, 2018

Form 1099-Q

Reports distributions from Coverdell ESA accounts.

Mail by February 15, 2018

Form 1099-B

Reports redemption proceeds from sales or exchanges made in Dreyfus non-retirement mutual fund accounts (except money markets). Accounts requiring both Form 1099-B and Form 1099-DIV will be mailed by this date.

2018 Estimated Spillback Distribution Information

Spillback distributions are taxable in the year received, even though they represent ordinary income and/or capital gains earned by the funds in the previous year.

Reports all Coverdell Educational Savings Account contributions for the 2017 tax year.
